Now that your profile page is set up, it’s time to polish your class page/ listing and make sure it is professional and engaging. First impressions count so make sure your listing captures visitors’ attention!

You can offer multiple types of listings on Fitmytime -

  • Private session (1 on 1)
  • Group session (recurring) — this is great if you wish to host recurring group classes
  • Online group event (not recurring) — this is great for special events like yoga parties
  • Bundle of 5 classes
  • Monthly subscription

Listings can be defined as paid or free.

Your listing is compiled of several fields:

Listing title

Your listing title should briefly describe the class; 2–4 words should be enough.

Price

The price for private sessions are per hour, and the prices for group sessions and events are per ticket and can have different length.

What to include in your listing description

  • Welcome your visitors — Make your listing as inviting as if they came to your studio or to your home for the first time.
  • Add an abbreviated version of your bio, just so people will get a general idea about you and your expertise. You can refer them to your profile for further information.
  • Emphasize the advantages of online live practice — Think about your target audience: What will motivate them to sign up for a class? Are they busy businesswoman with tight schedules? Are they new moms who want to start an exercising routine? Are they people with specific conditions who can benefit from an online live practice?
  • Describe the health benefits of your class — Does it improve strength and flexibility? Can it help with stress and pain relief? Weight loss? Back pains? Elaborate a little about who can benefit from your class: age, fitness level, etc.
  • Set expectations — Is this session adjustable to all kinds of populations? Is it recommended for any level of fitness?
  • Suggest how they can take their first step toward better health — Invite people to contact you via the contact button for consultation before making their first booking. Our built-in messages platform was created so that instructors and students can chat prior to booking a class.
  • Add a short YouTube introduction video — Adding a YouTube video is another way to add a personal human touch to your online class, as it creates a sense of familiarity that is harder to achieve by using only text and photos. Potential students will trust you more after hearing your voice and seeing you speak and move. The video can include a short “about you” and an invitation to contact you (by using the contact button) for consultation before scheduling an online live session. It can also contain a short exercise demonstration. If your description field contains a YouTube link, the video will be shown below the description.
  • Proofread — Write informative, interesting texts and be sure to proofread your profile page (or even better — ask a friend to help with that).

Activity Type

Choose the relevant activity type for your online class. In some cases, it makes sense to mark a few types. For example, If you offer a yoga class, and it is also suitable for people who search for a stretching and relaxing workout, you can mark both types. You can create several classes, so if you teach Pilates and Yoga, you might consider setting up 2 different listings. Alternatively, you can mark several options for one class. Make sure your listing title is compatible. For example, if you marked Yoga and Pilates, you can use a title like “Yogilates with Daniel” or simply “Personally tailored Pilates and Yoga”.

Language

Mark one or more languages that you speak fluently.

Video Chat Link

Add your Zoom link or other video chat solution you already use. This field can also be left empty. After we approve your listing, we will create a unique video chat link for your classes if you don’t have your own Zoom account.

Alternatively, you can also add free text in this field (for example: “The link will be sent after the booking is confirmed”).

NEW — Availability Calendar

You can now add your availability calendar to your private session listings. We recommend using Calendly , which is free to use. Calendly enables you to create custom time slots and share them via a link, which you can then paste into our Availability Calendar field.

Location

Select your location (so people will know where you are from).

Images

Use captivating photos that demonstrate your expertise. The best photos for your class page are close-up photos (like the ones you can use for your profile) or medium shots that show you in a “practice pose”. It’s better not to use long shots in which you appear small and distant where the view takes most of the space because these may create a distancing effect. To build a sense of closeness and familiarity make sure the viewer can see you clearly. You can upload several photos and switch the main photo every once in a while if you wish to do so, just by dragging the photos. For best results, use JPG, GIF or PNG images that are 660 by 440 pixels.
